We started by speaking to countless Brides, Brides-to-Be, and wedding industry professionals to understand how we can help. You all had MANY great ideas. We’re now hard at work putting those ideas into action.
This blog is your insider's view into what we're up to and our vehicle to share wedding photography that inspires us along the way.

Lakes and weddings really do just seem to go together - as these shots from Aric Becker Photography of Sara amd Mike’s Olympia, WA wedding demonstrate perfectly. And it makes for an even better backdrop when you can throw in a majestic mountain and a ship ot two as well!
We love the beautiful blues and greens that Sara and Mike chose for their wedding colors. they complemented the natural setting so well don’t you think? There are lots more pictures from this wedding at Bridesview.com so why not head over there and take a look at them? And don’t forget to stop by the Bridesview Facebook page to share your thoughts with us when you have a moment too - we’d love to hear from you.

This elegant Massachusetts wedding was held in a museum, the Wisteriahurst Museum in Holyoke, MA to be precise. However, as you can see from these great shots by Randy Anagnostis Photography there was nothing at all stuffy about it. And bride Dana told us that was exactly the idea:
” When we started dating I was a bit miserable with my entire life. He re-taught me how to have fun, laugh and enjoy being in the moment. So that was the type of wedding I was determined to have! I kept things simple which ensured everyone had fun, including us! We had a no stress day due to an incredible wedding party support group and the professionals that took care of everything!”
In fact Dana was such an organized bride that she also was kind enough to share her list of tips for couples who are still in the wedding planning stages. Here it is:
1. Join The Knot online! Its like a free wedding planner and tells you a timeline of when to do EVERYTHING, even slow down and take a breather!
2. Register! I didn’t and regret it to this day. All the money that we did get didn’t go to the things we needed for our home.
3. Take a few days off of work BEFORE the wedding, you will be too preoccupied with last minute things no matter HOW organized and prepared you are, to concentrate on your job.
4. Even if you aren’t going on a honeymoon, take at least 3 days off AFTER your wedding. Believe me it’ll take days to re-cooperate from entertaining an entire room of guests!
5. Last but most important of all: Have fun and don’t expect perfection! If something doesn’t turn out the way it was planned, chances are you won’t notice but if you do, it’s just one day. Your new life with your spouse is what you are celebrating not a detail that went awry. “
Great advice don’t you think? The Bridesview team wants to thank Dana for sharing and invite you to see more from this lovely wedding at Bridesview.com. We’d also like to invite you to stop by the Bridesview Facebook page to share you thoughts about this or any other wedding we have featured here.
