Today we have something a little different - a styled shoot from Cecilia Flaming Photography that was shot in  an industrial district in Vancouver, BC. Kara and Rick did not really get married - but they are dating so who knows? We love the way Cecilia styled and shot this one, another great example of why she is such a great photographer and a Bridesview fave! By the way, the dress Kara wore cost just $20 if you can believe that - what a find!

There is more to see from this great shoot at the Bridesview.com site, as well as a few more examples of Cecilia’s real wedding shoots, so why not head over there and check them out?

Randy Anagnostis Photography: Kimmy and Andrew

Kimmy and Andrew’s Southbury, CT wedding celebration was an elegant affair that the Bridesview team loved.  The quirky scenery of the Aqua Turf Club provided a gorgeous outdoor backdrop and the reception decor was simple but very sophisticated at the same time. We loved the ice sculpture (and the dry ice)

This was the American celebration that came after the couple’s formal Hindu celebration of marriage, another beautiful affair that we will be featuring very soon so watch out for it!

If you would like to see more from this stunning celebration as photographed by the very talented Randy Anagnostis Photography, then head over to the main Bridesview.com site, we have plenty more to share!

The Bridesview team love an outdoor wedding and we love a great theme so the fact that Samantha and Nick’s Sacramento, CA wedding covers both of those bases is a special treat. Nick and his boys pulled off the gangster look perfectly and Samantha makes such a lovely Moll! Add to that the beautiful scenery, the amazing cake and the fabulous job Perfect Moment Photography did of capturing it and you have one very special wedding album!

There is much more for you to see from this fun affair at the Bridesview.com site so don’t forget to check it out. And what are your thoughts about themed weddings? We’d love to hear them so why not stop by the Bridesview Facebook page as well and share them?

Laurie Carpenter Photography: Lindsey and Zach

There are so many great and very individual touches to this wonderful Nashville, TN wedding, as shared with us by Laurie Carpenter Photography and the Bridesview team loved them all. Where did the inspirations come from? The lovely bride Lindsey was good enough to fill us in. She told us “We just wanted everything to represent us, and of course make sure everyone had fun! We have a lot of friends and family who love to have a great time, so we just wanted to show off our personalities by making the whole day as unique to who we are as possible, while still having a blast and making it enjoyable for our guests.

“Zach had his super hero cake, which was a big hit. Our wedding cake was suspended mid air, and people LOVED that! We also had guests sign guitars, as I’m a songwriter, and that was our guest book. And green and blue are our favorite colors, so our wedding planner incorporated that into a lot of the lighting and decorations!”

Lindsey also shared with us her advice for brides to be based on her own experiences. When we asked for her top three tips for brides to be she told us “”1) Get a wedding planner! She was the best money we spent!

    2) The day is not only about you, it’s about your guests. Make sure you are accommodating to them and that they have a great time! I’ve been to so many weddings where I’ve helped clean up at the end of the night; no fun! Splurge a little and make sure someone else is doing that; the day is supposed to be fun!

    3) Enjoy it. Having a wedding planner let us forget about details and the day didn’t fly by on us. We were able to take it all in and have a fantastic time.” Great advice Lindsey and we thankyou for sharing!

Speaking of sharing, we have so much more for you to see from this great wedding album at the main Bridesview.com site so we invite you to head over there to check it all out.

What was the inspiration behind the gorgeous Colorado wedding of high school sweethearts Holly and John? The Bridesview team were lucky enough to find out from the bride herself! Holly told us “I had always wanted the picturesque outdoor wedding at top a mountain. I wanted a rustic nature setting with simple elegance touches throughout.  So we picked our favorite place in Colorado and chose a rustic log cabin with an outdoor deck to have the ceremony on. The aspen leaves had just turned golden yellow and were the perfect back drop”. We agree and think that Dreamtime Images did a wonderful job capturing it all!

Holly also shared with us her advice for brides to be, based on her experience. ”Something will go wrong but don’t worry about it! Our cake fell completely apart while driving it up the mountain! My wedding coordinator and mother had to piece it back together and put flowers to cover all the holes! It ended up looking pretty and tasting great and no one knew. Enjoy every minute of the wedding, it goes by really fast but take a moment with your new spouse after the ceremony just the two of you. “

We have a lot more great images from Holly and John’s big day to share with you at the main Bridesview.com site, so be sure to check them all out. And don’t forget to stop by the Bridesview Facebook page to share your thoughts, we’d love to hear them!

    Jinda Photography: Diana and Phil

Our featured wedding today was shared with us by Jin and Linda, a talented couple who together make up Jinda Photography. Diana and Phil’s Tacoma, Washington wedding was, as you can see , a very elegant and modern affair that still gave a respectful nod to the couple’s heritage. We love the blue color of the bridesmaids dresses as well as the sense of fun and love that seems to exude from every picture!

We have a lot more to share with you from Diana and Phil’s big day so don’t forget to stop by the main Bridesview.com site to see it all.

Gerard Tomko Photography: Charlotte and Adam

Today marks the first time we have been fortunate enough to be able to feature the work of Gerald Tomko, a talented Philadelphia based photographer who, we discovered, will be photographing his 1,000th wedding this summer! 1,000 different brides and grooms, all we can say is wow!

Charlotte and Adam’s beautiful wedding is a great example of his work. The Bridesview team love the gorgeous colors and flowers at the reception, the lovely bridesmaid dresses and of course the dog (we’re suckers for animals.) What really struck us though were some of the amazing formal shots of the bride and groom.

There are more great shots from this lovely Philly wedding at the main Bridesview.com site, so don’t miss them. And the next time you are on Facebook we’d love it if you’d stop by the Bridesview Facebook page and share your thoughts about this wedding or any of the others we have featured!
